illycaffè is an Italian company founded in Trieste in 1933 with the mission to offer the best coffee to the world. We are looking for a Buyer to join our Procurement Team at the Headquarter in Trieste.
What will you do under your responsibility as a Buyer – Marketing & Communication:
1. create and implement global procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within Industry;
2. manage the company’s supply of Goods and Services of Marketing & Communication;
3. discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships;
4. negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms;
5. approve the ordering of necessary promotional products and services;
6. finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries;
7. examine and test existing contracts;
8. track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness;
9. collaborate with key persons and Functions to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company;
10. control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Your Requirements:
1. degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field – other professional certifications are desirable;
2. 2/3 years of experience in similar roles;
3. knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms;
4. negotiation and customer service skills;
5. professional knowledge of the English language.
