Associate Director of Digital Engagement and Alumni Services VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY Position Title: Associate Director of Digital Engagement and Alumni Services Location: Villanova, PA Work Schedule: Full-time/12-months Department: 603-Alumni Relations Office The Associate Director of Digital Engagement and Alumni Services provides leadership and consulting in the areas of digital strategy, online technologies, data processes, reporting, and business operations. This position manages a staff of one, overseeing alumni service functions such as the help desk, operations, and alumni benefits program. The incumbent works closely with Alumni Relations team members, University Marketing and Communications, and UNIT to create a world-class online engagement experience for the Villanova alumni community. Duties and Responsibilities: Acts as a consultant and provides guidance on digital strategy, online technologies, user experience, information architecture, and brand voice. In partnership with University Advancement Data Governance and Solution Design teams and UNIT, helps to create and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and accurate data collection. Oversight of operations and planning for Alumni Services, including activities for the Alumni Association Board of Directors and alumni help desk. Proactively stays abreast of best practices and new technologies for digital engagement and alumni services. Develops and delivers training programs for AR team, volunteers, and campus partners as they relate to digital engagement initiatives. Other duties as assigned, including leadership with special projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in prioritizing work and handling multiple priorities. Commitment to excellence and ability to engage in ongoing process improvement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong attention to detail, written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of digital engagement mediums such as e-mail marketing, website, and social media. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in communications and/or project management is highly desired. Management experience desired. Physical Requirements: Must be able to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work additional hours in the evenings and weekends for high-profile events.
