Due to the rapid expansion of Mindray’s success in Europe, we need a true surgical product professional in Italy, with an established relationship with end users in the region, to develop brand reliability by promoting our range of high-end surgical products into selected customers.
This is a tough, competitive market sector, with key competitors being among the largest healthcare companies in the world. We need a targeted professional with a background in surgical products and established relationships with key customers in Italy to help analyze our competitors, implement surgical products strategy, and provide training to end users. We are looking for someone with a technical background, who is able to conduct on-site installations, and build collaborations with technical figures such as engineers and architects.
As an emotionally intelligent professional with existing relationships with hospitals in Italy, and a background of understanding and responding to customers’ needs, you will join our growing business in this position, working alongside senior stakeholders to drive key relationships while showcasing your appetite for overachievement.
Your job responsibilities will include:
* Understand product features, evaluate the monitoring process, and implement the product strategy for varied surgical products in Italy.
* On-site installations, building knowledge to collaborate with technical figures such as engineers and architects.
* Create offer documents and provide technical support for tenders.
* Understand the market scenario, develop requirements in different customer segments, and analyze competitors to formulate the right strategy for Mindray products.
* Cooperate with sales and business partners to identify key business opportunities and provide technical and marketing support.
* Establish professional relationships and communicate with key opinion leaders in different medical societies, Ministry of Health, and hospital groups.
* Support reference site selection and establishment, organize marketing activities, and follow up with the clinical evaluation process.
* Lead marketing promotion for products, planning and participating in key promotional events and exhibitions to enhance our brand image.
* Support training plans for distributors to improve their product knowledge and sales ability.
* Communicate regularly with HQ to update and maintain the list of key account customers.
What are we looking for in you?
* Comprehensive experience within surgical products (Pendants, Beams, Surgical lights, and Operating tables) is essential.
* Understanding of the Italian surgical market and connections with end-users.
* Secondary school diploma in technical skills (surveyor, technical expert).
* Good knowledge of technical construction and plant.
* AutoCAD software proficiency in 2D/3D is highly appreciated.
* Ability to identify product advantages, offer training to distributors and end-users, and drive distributors for customer breakthroughs.
* Proven ability to manage and develop business with KOLs in Italy.
* Experience working as a product specialist or technical specialist at top players in the surgical devices industry (distributor or manufacturer) is preferred.
* Fluent in Italian and English - both written and spoken.
* Evidence of emotional intelligence is critical.
* Independence – recognize how to get things done.
* Relationship skills – able to build strong positive relationships with key decision-makers and collaborate positively within Mindray.
* Good communication skills with excellent listening, spoken, and written abilities.
* IT literate.
* Ability to work in Europe without the requirement of company sponsorship.
