The figure, placed within the area dedicated to product development in the Production Engineering department, will be involved in the development of new products, from the co-engineering of the prototype to its actual realization in continuous relation and collaboration with the dedicated technical departments, with increasing involvement and responsibility that will lead him/her over time to become responsible for entire cycles and processing technologies of one or more products.
He/she will also be involved in the research and implementation of new manufacturing technologies, as well as in the maintenance and optimization of existing products, with a view to continuous improvement, ensuring the achievement of objectives and quality standards.
Profile
The profile is addressed to graduates in Mechanical, Automation, Vehicle or Materials Engineering with an excellent general knowledge of the basic subjects of the degree course and a keen interest in the mechanical world.
Basic requirements:
* Knowledge of technical drawing
* Propensity for organisation and planning
* Practical and implementation skills
* Analytical and synthesis skills, creativity, problem solving and decision making
* Ability to work in a team and willingness to engage in dialectical dialogue with colleagues
Preferred characteristics:
* Propensity to work simultaneously on development issues related to mechanical production processes and technologies
* Propensity for in-depth technical analysis and good predictive and logical skills (very useful in product development through what if and root cause analyses)
* Aptitude for a cross-sectional view of resources and problems to better understand and manage the production process as a whole
* Propensity to achieve objectives
* In-company experience or internships in production or process engineering, thesis on technological topics
