**Job Title:** Executive Sous Chef
We are seeking a seasoned culinary professional to join our team as an Executive Sous Chef in Punta-Cana, Dominican Republic.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily culinary operations, leading the kitchen team, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship to promote growth and development.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to design innovative menus that showcase high-quality presentation and guest experience.
* Maintain a smooth-running kitchen operation, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and sourcing local ingredients.
* Contribute to the hotel's reputation by delivering outstanding culinary services.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or senior kitchen manager in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
* Expertise in menu creation, emphasizing presentation and guest experience.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to develop culinary staff.
* Experience in the Caribbean or tropical resort environment is an asset.
