Position Summary: The Department of Philosophy at Villanova invites applications for a Continuing Non-Tenure Track Position to begin in the Fall 2025 semester. Rank: Assistant Teaching Professor. AOS: Open. AOC: Computer ethics and environmental ethics. The successful candidate will be able to teach the Department’s foundation course, Knowledge, Reality and Self; computer ethics; and environmental ethics. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to service activities, such as the Philosophy Club and assessment activities. The position is renewable based upon performance. We seek a candidate with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and a record of excellence in the classroom.

Duties and Responsibilities
Position to begin Fall 2025. Three courses per semester. Usual committee work expected.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Philosophy. Record of successful teaching at the undergraduate level in introductory courses, computer ethics, and environmental ethics.
