About the location:

About the role:
You will be responsible for supporting the department Leadership team in coordinating the Room Attendants’ work on the floors. You will ensure all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels and you will oversee the housekeeping team working on the rooms while conducting detailed inspections of their work so to ensure room and suite is prepared in a timely manner. You will handle guest interactions and requests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, always ensuring their expectations are met.
What will you do:
* Conducts self in a professional manner at all times. Adheres to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations and department procedures and policies.
* Check for maintenance work orders and complete the required report. Turn them to the Housekeeping Department.
* Receive and complete all guest requests when on the floors, i.e. Extra pillows, blankets.
* Supervise all housekeeping operations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, i.e. special projects, general cleaning
* Conduct spot checks (while Room Attendants are working) and ensure proper procedures and steps are being taken. Follow up on all deficiencies
* Inspect all VIP and Special Attention rooms very carefully, ensuring that all special requests and amenities have been completed.
What you bring:
* At least 2 years of experience in the role with proven professional experience within a luxury Housekeeping department.
* You will have a very good knowledge of housekeeping standards and sequence of service, an empathetic and caring approach and a talent for offering the highest cleaning standards and hygiene practices, always ensuring a superb room experience for our guests.
* You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong business acumen, a passion for service, an exceptional eye for detail and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.
* You have fluency in English, Italian. A third language would represent ad advantage.

Schedule & Hours:
* This is a full-time position
* The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work also on weekends and holidays.
This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
