We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Chef de Rang for our Michelin Star Restaurant Saporium at Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel situated in the heart of Tuscany's picturesque countryside. Our estate encompasses 300 acres of organic farmland, vineyards, and breathtaking gardens.
The Chef de Rang will work within our Michelin Star Restaurant Saporium, offering an unparalleled farm-to-plate culinary experience. This role requires delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests. As Chef de Rang in a Michelin-starred restaurant, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth service, working closely with the restaurant manager and sommelier to ensure seamless service operations, and guaranteeing guest satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
* Welcome guests warmly, accompany them to their table, and provide the menu, thereby creating a lasting impression from the moment they arrive.
* Oversee a section of the dining room.
* Introduce the menu, describing each dish in detail and answering any questions guests may have.
* Coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, orchestrating service with precision and efficiency.
* Provide quality service aligned with Borgo Santo Pietro's standards.
* Take orders and offer recommendations when necessary.
* Assist guests in selecting wines that complement their meals.
* Provide personalized service to enhance the dining experience.
Candidate Profile:
* A fluency level of English and Italian languages is required.
* Previous experience in a similar role within luxury hotels is an asset.
* Proven experience in fine dining or Michelin star restaurants.
* Knowledge of food service is mandatory; knowledge of wines is strongly preferred.
* An excellent customer service attitude.
* Attention to details.
* Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
Details of the Offer:
This is a full-time, seasonal contract located in Chiusdino (SI), Italy. The period of employment spans from spring 2025 to autumn 2025.
