TXT e-Tech, a company part of the TXT Group, is looking for a AI Engineer (Defence Systems) for the Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit.
The selected candidate will work on an innovative project in the aerospace and defense sector, aimed at integrating AI systems into existing architectures to support pilots of next-generation aircraft.
Main responsibilities:
Design, training, and optimization of Reinforcement Learning agents in complex simulated environment;
Development of decision-making algorithms for critical scenarios, with a focus on evasive maneuvers and strategies;
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for integration into real-time embedded systems;
Experimentation and fine-tuning using advanced tools for simulation, optimization, and experiment management.
Required technical skills:
Experience (academic or industrial, including thesis/PhD) with Reinforcement Learning algorithms;
Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch;
Skills in modeling, simulation, and performance analysis;
Good command of English (B2 level).
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of TensorFlow, Gymnasium, Optuna, Hydra;
Experience with Simulink and physical simulation environments;
Interest in avionics, embedded, or mission-critical systems.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation / Robotics Engineering, Data Science / Artificial Intelligence, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
