In this position as Process Engineer Pre-press you will be part of the Pre-press and Printing Process Cell in Rubiera Converting Factory. You will work with the team to identify losses and countermeasures with the aim of eradication. You represent Pre-press process in Focused Improvement and Autonomous Maintenance Pillar, applying World Class Manufacturing, taking part to Kaizen Teams with main focus on LEAN concept. You will deal with internal and external auditors and cooperate with several stakeholders, including Quality, Customer Service, other Production Cells, Maintenance.
What you will do
* Take ownership of specific Pre-press and Printing KPI such as Machine Efficiency (EE), Mean Time Between intervention (MTBI), Process Waste; Pre-press Ratio, Plate Waste, Plate Reusage
* Actively contribute to Safety and Quality aspects of the process
* Losses Deployment and Analysis (Daily Management System)
* Recurrence Analysis
* Countermeasures vs sporadic losses
* Improvement teams and projects vs chronic losses
* Collaborate with other processes and functions
* Member of Focused Improvement Pillar and Autonomous Maintenance Pillar
* Management and implementation of global projects and standards
* Work with benchmarks to standardize the processes and boost best practices execution
* Develop data acquisition systems and data analysis
We believe you have
* A university degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or similar
* Basic knowledge of lean principles
* Good competence in data modelling, data analysis and data visualization
* An advanced MS Office level
* Basic competence in Project Management
* Knowledge of BI tools (PowerBi) is a plus
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Knowledge in a second language is a plus
