Job Description
This position focuses on studying microorganisms, including viruses and parasites. Key areas of investigation include their natural distribution, cellular and molecular mechanisms of pathogenicity, interactions with hosts or environments, and complex microbial community dynamics.
Additional research interests include host-microbe interactions, human microbial ecosystems, immune responses to infections, vaccines, antimicrobial drugs, and resistance mechanisms. Relevant fields include bacteriology, virology, mycology, medical and clinical parasitology, and vaccinology.

Responsibilities
* Conduct original research in microbiology and related disciplines
* Teach courses in microbiology and related subjects as part of the university's curriculum

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a strong background in microbiology and related disciplines, excellent research skills, and experience in teaching and mentoring students. A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field is required.
