WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will coordinate a cross-functional project team (Prototypes, Testing, Testing E&ES, Homologation) within PV, and work closely with the heads of the department who support you in making program decisions. You will be informed about the technical part of the program and, where necessary, discuss any needs with the function head. In addition, you will be able to work with the Platform, Chief Engineers, and the Program Manager to be informed about program developments and to present validation progress. You will interface externally with the final customer, in collaboration with the Chief Engineer, regarding the Product Validation part. You will follow the progress of customer tests by supervising and coordinating all internal processes connected to the tests. Main Work Activities Plan and manage all phases of project development in the PV area. Plan and monitor all phases of program execution: documentation preparation, material procurement, prototype construction, and product validation. Specifically, the heads of PV departments (prototypes, testing, testing E&S) remain in charge of technical decisions, details, and execution methods, but for specific projects, the project leaders stay informed and intervene if necessary. Participate and manage the PV progress meeting for the specific project, assigning actions and monitoring their progress to ensure compliance with the program plan. Coordinate activities within PV to prepare documentation and requests as required by the final customer. Interact with the Chief Engineer and the Prototypes department to facilitate and monitor the phases of prototype procurement and assembly. Manage and maintain the updated configuration of prototypes (both physical and documentary) Together with the Chief Engineer. Follow and monitor the progress of tests and results by interfacing with Testing Specialists during the execution of tests. Check test results and reports issued by Testing Specialists to ensure project objectives have been met. Discuss with the PIR Manager any issues or non-conformities detected during tests to understand how to proceed with the project and product validation. Replace the Testing Specialist if necessary and in agreement with the head of Testing and Product Validation. Verify with their cross-functional team members the necessary tools and equipment to carry out the validation plan. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: High school diploma (technician) or degree in Engineering; Experience in the automotive sector as a Project Manager; Knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project); Knowledge of vehicle structures (mechanical body systems) and vehicle dynamics; Basic knowledge of experimental methodologies, test systems, and data acquisition/analysis systems; Basic knowledge of test specifications and reference standards; Good knowledge of parts/groups/assemblies of mechanics, systems, and bodywork; Basic knowledge of measurement systems for main physical quantities (temperature and pressure) and their application on vehicles; Ability to read technical drawings and bill of materials; Knowledge of the functionalities of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; Availability for national and international travel; Italian native, and English B2 level Good team management/coordination skills; Good driving skills and sensitivity (possession of a "C" license is desirable)
