Overview We are looking for an Environmental Reporting Coordinator, Biodiversity & Water to join our Environmental Sustainability Team at the Global Headquarters in Milan, Italy. Your Impact The Environmental Reporting Coordinator, Biodiversity & Water will join our Environmental Sustainability Team, reporting to the Group Environmental Sustainability Senior Manager. As an Environmental Reporting Coordinator, your role would involve monitoring and analyzing environmental-related data and implementing biodiversity conservation strategies as well as improving water management practices across our supply chain. You will also contribute to improving reporting systems and processes for the completion of CDP Water, DJSI, sustainability reporting and other queries from investors and key stakeholders on environmental data. Key Responsibilities Data Collection and Management: establish and maintain systems for collecting environmental related data, in particular biodiversity and water related metrics. Data Analysis and Reporting: analyze environmental data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of biodiversity and water-related performance in line with Science Based Targets for Nature (SBTN) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) indicators for internal and external disclosures. Support in developing and implementing biodiversity and water stewardship strategies aligned with Group’s sustainability goals and monitor its progress. Monitor compliance with international biodiversity and water management regulations and standards. Monitor the progress of regenerative agriculture projects, ensuring alignment with sustainability objectives and assessing their environmental impact. Continuous improvement of data gathering from supply-chain related systems as well as external databases and tools. Identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes, streamline reporting workflows, and improve data quality. Qualifications At least 4 years experience in environmental reporting. Academic background in Environmental Engineering, Biology, Conservation and Natural Resource Management or similar degrees. Proven experience in Water Risk & Impact Assessment, Biodiversity impact and risk assessment, Resource Efficiency & Management, Water footprint, Sustainability Reporting. Strong analytical skills, an ability to quickly grasp technical issues, assess data, and good knowledge of Excel or other modelling tools. Experience with CDP water and key sustainability frameworks, including the Science Based Targets for Nature. Experience in environmental primary data collection and monitoring from suppliers. Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and an ability to deliver to tight deadlines and goal-oriented. Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to write in Italian and English fluently, accurately and concisely. Other languages are considered a plus.
