All about the role:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer who will be responsible for analyzing and supporting automated manufacturing processes, research and development of new automations, use of digital systems for equipment performance analysis, and analyzing equipment problems by implementing digital systems.
What you’ll do:
* Participate in ME projects in the plant by analyzing product and processing methods.
* Implement solutions to introduce robotic systems and reduce labor content.
* Introduce continuous improvement activities, including energy issues.
* Identify and implement solutions to reduce CO2 emissions, which are crucial for the ecological transition.
* Support Plant ME Manager in introducing new equipment.
* Support efficiency and improvement programs on safety, energy consumption, and maintenance.
Who you are:
* Degree in engineering or technical High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the engineering department.
* Italian language skills and fluent English (Minimum B2).
* Computer literacy: MS Office, Power-Bi layout planning (CAD).
* Ability to work with a high sense of urgency.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively and network with all levels of the organization.
* Knowledge of systems and related IT tools.
* Ability to work independently and in a team, evaluating priorities and timing.
* Good communication skills.
* Analytical approach and skills, as well as improvement-oriented thinking.
* Attitude to change.

You will be based at the Forlì plant, the main base of Food Preparation manufacturing, collaborating with others focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
