Job Description:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to perform the following duties:
Primary Functions:
* Special Processes: Ensure technical aspects regarding proper production on coating, drilling, heat treatment, etc. for IGT (Industrial Gas Turbine) and Aviation components.
Qualifications:
* The Manufacturing Engineer will perform each of the Major Activities, including:
* Layout the manufacturing process incorporating product design criteria.
* Support production from an engineering standpoint to prevent and solve issues during the process flow.
* Collaborate with Quality dept on critical aspects regarding products and processes of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
* Collect, analyze, and discuss customer required specifications and drawings.
* Ensure manufacturability of items internally developed and designed.
* Prepare customer documentation to qualify new products/processes.
* Continuously improve product / processes and utilize change management practices.
Education and/or Experience:
* High School Diploma in technical disciplines.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or other related scientific disciplines is a plus.
* Experience or knowledge on IGT and Aviation business is a plus.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Basic SAP knowledge is a plus.
* Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.

* Excellent communication skills, including written, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to interact with all levels of internal collaborators and external customers or suppliers.
* Italian: Proficient user.
* English: Proficient user.

* Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract variables.
Work Environment:
This job operates in both office and manufacturing environments.
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
Travel:
Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required.
