Leadership and expertise in program and project scheduling:
* Develop and implement standards and best practices for execution and controls.
* Drive the maturation of organizational competencies within execution for the projects.
Global team management and development:
* Lead and manage the team of planners and schedulers, setting direction and optimizing resource use.
* Manage day-to-day operations, set goals, and develop competencies within the team through coaching and training.
Development and implementation of Best Practices:
* Drive the development and implementation of execution and controls best practices and standards.
* Stay updated on industry developments and continuously improve controls practices.
Continuous improvement projects:
* Define and drive continuous improvement projects within the Project Control.
* Identify areas of improvement and focus on maintaining high standards of execution on both program and project levels.
Strategic advising and decision support:
* Act as a trusted advisor to on efficient PMO, program controls, and execution.
* Provide counsel on strategic implications, decisions, and incidents during execution.

Leadership and expertise in program and project scheduling:
* Set objectives and direction for scheduling and execution, aligned with overall objectives.
* Develop plans, procedures, and processes throughout the program lifecycle.
Global team management and development:
* Lead and manage the team of planners and schedulers, addressing resource and operational challenges.
* Set objectives and deliver results for the global team within the program and its projects.
* Mentor and guide program and project control staff.
Development and implementation of Best Practices:
* Stay updated on industry best practices within program execution and controls.
* Collect and analyze requests and needs from projects to ensure program controls standard practices are fit for purpose.
Continuous improvement projects:
* Identify improvement projects as part of the continuous improvement.
Scope of Authority:
* Full responsibility for managing all aspects of the scheduling function.
* Independence in decision-making guided by policies, procedures, and plans.
* Delegation of responsibility for outlined tasks and additional tasks as agreed with the direct manager.

Knowledge, skills and experience:
Minimum knowledge required to fulfil job responsibilities (not actual CV from candidate/employee)
Education:
* University Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable.
* Various Project and Program Management Certifications.
Experience:
* 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.
* 10+ years combined project execution and controls experience in mega investment projects and programs.
* Schedule Management IT system knowledge within Primavera is preferred.
