Job Summary
Garo, part of Ingersoll Rand group, is the world leader in liquid ring compressor technology and provides highly customized and engineered compressor packages and solutions for the most demanding applications in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industries. We are looking for a Project Manager that will coordinate internal resources and technical and financial activities for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget and meeting project’s objectives by considering customer requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for executing assigned projects on time and on budget and in accordance with order requirements, assuring planned milestones and invoicing
2. Coordination of the assigned project team including engineering, quality, procurement and logistic
3. Focal point for communication with the customer and company stakeholders
4. Prepare and manage the project schedule and all the periodic reports required by customers
5. Enter the budget received by the Management into SAP and maintain updated on a monthly basis the project economics of the projects
6. Plan and manage KOM and PIM with the customer
7. Plan and manage project meetings
8. Coordinates the activities of the packager ensuring the expected delivery times
9. Participate in the final inspections of the package with Quality and Technical Office.
10. Coordinate the packing by interacting with packer and Logistics for permits / delivery, etc.
11. Manage the post delivery activities and assure the closure of the punch lists (completion of supply, NC, various to be managed with the customer).
12. Manage claims with the customer until the completion of the commissioning.
Basic Qualifications
13. Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical Engineering or other technical related degree.
14. Project Management credited course preferred.
15. Must have at least 5-7 years experience in Project Management, preferably in packages Manufacturing industry.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Approx. 90% of office and smart working, 10% travel.
