Mission
:
The Stock Manager Specialist is responsible for the optimal management of inventory, ensuring product availability to meet customer demand, minimizing holding costs, and preventing stockouts. They collaborate with various departments within the company (purchasing, logistics, sales) to ensure process efficiency and data accuracy.
Responds to the Regional Demand planner & Stock manager coordinator.
Activities:
Inventory Management:
1. Constant monitoring of stock levels and definition of minimum and maximum stock levels.
2. Analysis of historical sales data and demand forecasting to optimize order quantities.
3. Implementation of inventory control systems (e.g., ABC analysis, safety stock) to ensure product availability.
4. Management of surpluses and obsolescence.
Process Optimization:
5. Analysis and continuous improvement of inventory management processes.
6. Identification of any inefficiencies and proposals for solutions to improve them.
7. Collaboration with the IT team to implement new inventory management systems and tools.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
8. Collaboration with the purchasing department to plan orders and define commercial terms.
9. Collaboration with the logistics department to ensure correct goods handling and returns management.
10. Collaboration with the sales department to provide information on stock status and manage customer requests.
11. Collaboration with accounting department to assess invoices discrepancies.
12. Collaboration with quality department and marketing department to ensure the correct launch of new products according the deadlines defined.
Data Analysis:
13. Use of data analysis tools to monitor inventory performance and identify trends and anomalies.
14. Preparation of periodic reports on stock status and process efficiency.
Requirements:
15. Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
16. Previous experience in inventory management or similar roles.
17. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
18. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles.
19. Experience using ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
21. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
22. Good knowledge of English
Formation / Compétences :
Desired Skills:
23. nExperience in implementing advanced inventory management systems.
24. Certifications in logistics (e.g., CSCP).
