Eurofins NSC Italia is seeking a highly motivated Country Tax Manager to join its team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde: Cascina Burrona).
You will provide tax advisory services for international and domestic projects, including M&A, restructuring, and integration. You'll manage quarterly tax accounting, reporting, and support tax compliance. You’ll work with external Transfer Pricing consultants and ensure audit readiness in Italy. You will be the primary contact with Italian tax authorities, managing audits and collaborating with local advisors. The role requires fluency in Italian and English, based in Milan, with hybrid work options. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-cultural teams are essential.
Your responsibilities
Provide tax advisory services to local businesses (international/ cross-border projects).
Support on M&A projects and related integration activities as well as other restructuring projects or tax planning opportunities.
Support local businesses and Common Shared Services to assure tax compliance (CIT, WHT, VAT, etc.).
Monitor transactions from tax risk perspective and provide corresponding input for tax accounting and reporting.
Maintain the tax related internal controls.
Ensure that Group Transfer Pricing policies are properly follows.
Manage Corporate Income Tax/ Transfer Pricing audits and disputes in Italy. Liaise with tax authorities as required and coordinate with local tax advisors.
Supervision of periodic and annual tax declarations preparation (drafting the Income Tax model for legal entities, communication and VAT declarations, preparation of Single Certifications, etc.).
Management of local tax consolidations and related contracts.
Calculation of local taxes and deferred taxation.
Tax assistance to the Administration and Budget function (accounting for tax funds, analysis of deferred taxes, analysis of related contracts).
Preparation of Tax reporting.
Tax planning activities in coordination with the group's tax office.
Maintenance of documentation relevant for tax purposes.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Law or Economics
Approx. 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in national and international taxes, either as in-house tax manager or as external advisor
Sound knowledge of Italian tax law and international tax law
Understanding of OECD TP rules and local Italian Transfer Pricing requirements
Experience in handling tax audits and managing relationships with tax authorities
Excellent skills with MS Excel
Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting practices
Ability to provide strategic tax planning and advice to support business objectives
Problem solver attitude, solution/result driven
Fluency in both, English and Italian
