Building and sustaining a culture of trade compliance is an absolute must for ST. As part of our mission, the Global Trade Compliance Organization (GTCO) provides our employees the right tools and resources to be knowledgeable of and compliant with applicable trade and customs regulations. To that end, GTCO is hiring a Trade Compliance Corporate Training and Outreach Lead whose main objectives are strengthening and expanding our trade compliance training program and GTCO internal stakeholder footprint; and proactively monitoring and communicating any relevant trade compliance regulatory updates that could impact ST. Responsibilities: Ensuring GTCO training modules are current, complete, and consistent with our standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements. Providing customized training to GTCO stakeholders based on organization, role, and function. Leading outreach initiatives with key ST stakeholders to strengthen ST trade compliance culture across all parts of the business. Coordinating with the Regional Trade Compliance Managers (RTCMs) the training schedule and material for regional onsite trainings as needed. Identifying and deploying new trade compliance training content or awareness training events, through Yammer, webcasts, FAQs, etc. Coordinating proactive monitoring activities of relevant regulations and support business impact analysis. Liaising with the RTCMs on regulatory changes in other countries, regions, and jurisdictions, and coordinating efforts for clear and consistent communication to ST management and impacted stakeholders. Profile: Excellent organizational, people, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and to adapt and quickly respond to change. Minimum five years of experience in Global Trade Compliance, International Logistics, Business Management, etc. Strong knowledge of export controls and import/export & Customs regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
