Job Summary:
TheMaintenance Teamleader is responsible for effectively managing preventive maintenance, repair, and Continuous Improvement modifications of all production and packaging equipment. Contributes to business and plant results while maintaining positive employee relations.
The Maintenance Teamleader also drives FP and R AM Progression by transferring tasks from PM (Maintenance Technicians) execution to AM (production line) execution. This includes the selection, revision and validation of tasks before final transfer. As well as providing resources to facilitate AM execution as well as taking care of (identified) technical/operational issue(s) resolution.
Theprimary accountabilities of the role include managing AM Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, daily maintenance schedule adherence, problem:solving and continuous improvement execution/implementation.
TheTeam Leader Maintenance has to be an effective and valuable member of the Technical Systems team, to ensure delivery of plant business results. The Team Leader Maintenance works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with his reports as well as production units and support functions and guides and empowers teams in the implementation of the plant strategy.
Essential Job Functions:

Accountable for the quality and productivity of the Maintenance department, and its ability to deliver high levels of service to the plant

Manage the people, materials and equipment to deliver maintenance performance objectives, as measured by plant KPI's
:
Ensures compliance with policies/procedures for staffing, shift schedule, vacation scheduling, and training to meet business needs
:
Manages the development and implementation of the daily maintenance schedule in a way that ensures high levels of equipment availability and service
:
Accountable for developing and managing the maintenance budget
:
Identifies, recommends and implements both maintenance and manufacturing cost reduction programs
:
Makes recommendations on both capital and operating budgets
:
Communicates and implements the local Supply Chain vision, mission, strategy and objectives within the plant
:
Ensures effective communication within the teams
:
Empowers subordinates by way of training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals and delegation, to ensure the development of people, teams and organizational capabilities
:
Implements FP and R and other continuous improvement programs within the plant
:
Tasks / Projects are performed within the legal and corporate requirements
:
Accountable for adhering to CP/Hill's, local and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality and Regulatory

Shares knowledge and develop skills of others (in team) and actively participates in continuous learning opportunities

Education:
:Bachelor in Technical / Engineering
: 3/5: years experience within a Maintenance Department in a highly automated production environment
