About the Job
In this job, you will be organizing and conducting activities to identify all the Fluidic Ground Support Equipment (FGSE) needed for a specific project, define relevant functional and design requirements, and provide required technical follow-on during the procurement and acceptance phase. You will also be in charge of testing and validation of the spacecraft fluidic systems at component, subsystem, and system levels.
Specific Tasks:
* Define the FGSE procurement technical requirements and issue relevant specifications.
* Prepare FGSE requirements traceability matrixes and define relevant verification matrixes.
* Define preliminary FGSE design and relevant sketches.
* Support the purchasing department in preparing and collecting the MGSE request for quotation.
* Review FGSE offers and provide technical evaluation for supplier selection.
* Review FGSE documentation provided by suppliers after kick-off events.
* Provide continuous technical support during the procurement phase.
* Perform co-engineering activities with other departments.
* Study and develop test set-up and prepare assembly and test documentation.
* Execute/contribute/supervise all fluidic assembly and test campaigns for the spacecraft.
* Support and conduct all interoperability test campaigns with external entities.
* Support AIT manager in defining the AIT schedule.
About You
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor or Master degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
* Proficient in English (C1 or above); basic knowledge of French is an advantage.
* Valid PCN Level 2 in leakage testing techniques.
* Previous experience of at least 5 years on fluidic assembly, testing, and FGSE definition on aerospace systems.
* Proven experience in launch site fluidic integration and testing.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Deep knowledge of helium mass spectrometer operation.
* Knowledge of leakage testing measurement theory and performance evaluation.
* Design, procurement, and operation of dedicated FGSE.
* Operative certification as Oxygen loading certified personnel.
Personal Ability:
* Ability for manual work (integration and testing set-up preparation).
* Capability to organize activities with different priorities.
* Organized and methodical approach with strong communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously or in a team.
* Availability to work in shifts and over the weekend if requested.
* Strong attitude to achieve results within time and cost constraints.
* Problem-solving attitude.
