We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Housekeeping Manager to lead our team at Borgo Santo Pietro, a five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscany.
The ideal candidate will have a special talent for ensuring exceptional levels of service excellence, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Main responsibilities include:
* Assisting in maintaining high cleanliness, service, and product quality standards in guest suites, villas, public areas, restrooms, and offices.
* Planning, distributing, delegating, and directing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal work assignments.
* Inspecting public areas and guest suites and villas to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
* Ensuring proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies by monitoring usage and providing complete training for team members.
* Managing the Housekeeping Department, leading the team in all day-to-day operations, and ensuring Borgo Santo Pietro standards are met through leadership, training, and development.
Candidate profile:
* A minimum of two years of experience in housekeeping leadership roles in luxury hotels or resorts.
* Strong knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning supplies and products.
* Cost and inventory control capabilities.
* Proficiency with computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Workplace, Health, Safety, and Hygiene procedures is essential.
