Posting Details Posting Number: 20254271S Position Title: Lead Parking Enforcement Officer Position Type: Staff Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: full-time/9-months Avg Hours Week Department: 509-Parking and Transportation Position Summary The Lead Parking Enforcement Officer performs various functions relating to parking enforcement and garage operations. The Lead Parking Enforcement Officer will issue parking tickets for violation of University Parking Policies. Facility/Garage supportive functions include customer service, collection of receipts, ensuring clean and presentable parking facilities, and performing basic maintenance on garage equipment. The Lead Parking Enforcement Officer will help with event parking in the Ithan Garage to ensure a smooth experience while maximizing parking spaces and minimizing congestion. Duties and Responsibilities Issue parking tickets using an automated License Plate Recognition (LPR) system. Ensure all parking equipment is well maintained and operational. Collect cash and credit card receipts from multiple pay stations in the University parking garage and exit gates. Help set up the parking garage for events with cones and barricades to direct vehicles to maximize parking spaces. Assist with the traffic flow for entry and exit for the events. Report any known accidents, safety hazards, maintenance repairs, or any suspicious activities to supervisor or appropriate department. Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Formal Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Experience Experience in parking operations, facilities management, or a university setting. Work Skills Must be organized and detail-oriented with good customer service skills and a positive friendly approach and demeanor. Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass a university driving record check. Preferred Qualifications Able to work in all weather conditions for long periods. Walk and stand for extended periods of time and ability to lift 50lbs. Tools, Machinery, and Equipment Used University vehicles, T2 Parking Equipment, including mobile fixed License Plate Readers (LPR), vehicle boot (immobilizer), hand tools needed to repair/replace T2 garage equipment.
