Job Overview: The Category Manager is responsible for developing the overall strategy for an aftersales product category, identifying new product opportunities, and maximizing sales to achieve business targets. This role leads a team that provides category insights and strategic recommendations by analyzing marketing and customer data while monitoring key market conditions, including car parc coverage, benchmarking, and product distribution strategy. Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee the implementation of the global strategy for aftersales products in the assigned category by: Analyzing industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor positioning (product portfolio, sales channels, business models, marketing, pricing, and sourcing). Conducting assessments of Stellantis' current situation, including SWOT analysis based on efficient data collection. Defining and executing strategic actions based on benchmarking and internal assessments, ensuring alignment with short-, mid-, and long-term business objectives. Leading international negotiations, managing contracts with global suppliers, and securing commercial agreements and bonuses. Monitoring the implementation of the approved strategy and adjusting it as needed. Define the value proposition (GOOD/BETTER/BEST) across the full product offering, including MOPAR, EUROREPAR/BPROauto, Supplier Range, and Circular Economy initiatives. Drivers of Success: Collect and analyze external and internal data (purchasing, marketing, sales) and perform detailed financial and performance analytics. Translate insights into clear and actionable strategic plans. Engage key stakeholders to ensure successful strategy execution and monitor its impact. Demonstrate agility and adaptability in strategy implementation. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field. 5-10 years of proven experience in Aftersales Marketing and the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) sector. Strong expertise in category management, product marketing, and pricing strategies. Experience in leading international negotiations and supplier management. Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
