Mission Mectron spa, a company specializing in medical and dental device design and production, is seeking a junior project manager.
Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for delivering the project as a whole, respecting the requirements, deadlines, and planned costs. Tasks: Project realization, Project balance, Project costs, Project plan, Project execution, Project governance and development process as defined by development procedures, Project communication plan. Communicate and conduct meetings with clients and internal and external suppliers, conduct briefings for senior management team.
* Risk management through information exchange, consultation with senior directors, active influence and persuasion without direct command to obtain cooperation from other parties on program execution plans.
* Guide, direct, and review the work of a team of professionals/people on support tracks and/or supplier roles that exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Accountabilities
Receives from Management the scope and objectives of the project. Guides an interfunctional team, composed of all corporate functions: R&S (systematic, clinical, mechanical, industrialization, embedded electronics, sourcing), Operations (purchases, production, technical assistance, ...), Marketing (SDD and downstream), Sales, Finance, ... Negotiates with functional managers the resources to be assigned to the project. Ensures that the needs of all relevant stakeholders have been listed.
* Guides the team to translate stakeholder needs into project requirements, ensuring their completeness and coherence.
* Provides budget forecasts for the project, guiding the team in estimating internal commitment, material expenses, necessary consultations, and investments.
* Implements project governance, monitors activity and deliverable status, identifies critical paths, and verifies compliance with milestones agreed upon for the project. Provides modifications to the project plan when necessary.
* Provides project reports. Implements a communication plan, ensuring that all internal functions and stakeholders are aware of the project's current state.
* Interacts clearly, constructively, and positively with all organizational functions to ensure engagement and involvement.
Supervisory responsibilities
Guides interfunctional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for the development of new products and the management of product, process, and therapy life cycles. Supervises and manages operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a link between project management and planning, the project team, and line management.
Governs the development and implementation process of products and services within a company, involving departmental or interfunctional teams focused on providing new or existing products and processes. Examines project progress and budgets; manages deadlines and prepares progress reports. Monitors the project from start to delivery. Evaluates project problems and develops solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervening in and resolving problems with project managers, line managers, and clients. Collects requirements, works on requirement planning, elicitation, and management to ensure they meet the main project stakeholders' requests. Communicates with stakeholders, obtains their commitment to ensure that final products or processes resolve business problems.
Required skills and experience:
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing process, project, and tactic execution within a work area. Generally possesses solid knowledge and competences in a specific technical or professional discipline, with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization. 2 years of experience. Requires a STEM degree diploma (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
