The Position
As a Customer Logistics Manager, you will join the Finance & Logistics function of Roche Italia. You will be responsible for the supply and distribution activities of the pharmaceutical division's products in the local market, overseeing the supply chain activities within the country to ensure defined service levels, with the aim of reducing or eliminating potential risks.
Specifically, you will have the following areas of responsibility:
1. Oversee and ensure supply and distribution activities for the local market, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and optimizing costs;
2. Actively collaborate with the Country Supply Manager and different stakeholders in the affiliate to ensure supply from packaging sites, monitoring stocks and highlighting risks of potential obsolescence, defining any necessary actions to mitigate;
3. Ensure and monitor the implementation of agreements with local logistics and distribution providers, focusing on efficiencies and performance indicators;
4. Monitor and control the correct fulfillment of all customs formalities for products subject to customs clearance, in collaboration with the Customs Assistance Center and the service company in charge, verifying the payment of fees;
5. Promote the digital transition by seizing appropriate market opportunities, with the aim of improving efficiency and productivity in logistics and distribution processes;
6. Contribute to the design and implementation of specific logistics and distribution solutions for customers together with internal and external partners;
7. Ensure the correct set-up of product Master Data and Supply Chain flows, considering the life cycle of Roche's product portfolio;
8. Lead and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders (Quality, Regulatory, suppliers) for the implementation of Supply Chain projects, in order to improve services offered in the local market (cold chain, home delivery, etc.);
9. Support the definition and execution of risk management related to logistics and distribution services, including the definition of risk mitigation actions (continuity plans);
10. Collaborate with internal functions for the management of production criticalities.
Requirements
1. Master's Degree in management engineering, business economics, and/or statistics;
2. 3-5 years of proven experience in multinational and structured companies in Logistics Distribution and Customer Service functions (e.g., Replenishment Coordinator, Distribution Manager, etc.);
3. Advanced knowledge of the Office package and SAP;
4. Experience in working in cross-functional teams, problem-solving and activities and deadlines prioritization, plus ability to influence and negotiate;
5. Advanced knowledge of Italian and English languages, written and spoken (level C);
6. Availability for short trips abroad to participate in international meetings.
