Offer Description
The project deals with the transformations of law between ecosystems and new technologies: a millennium turning point. After a critical-historical reconstruction of the 20th century and the impact on nature of technological changes, the project investigates the role played by law and the rationale of the relationship between philosophies of technology and the environment. Subsequently, the research will address case studies (European Green Deal (2019), Action Plan for Carbon Dioxide Peaking (China 2021), Inflation Reduction Act (USA 2022), Ecological Transformation Plan (Brazil 2023). Although different, these programs are united by policies and technologies to protect ecosystems. Finally, the project will show how techniques, the defense of nature, and legal solutions open up a horizon of mediation, which intersects local and supranational systems, overcoming their exclusivity and making the universality of the technique-nature couple the lingua franca of legal communication.
