PLANT ENGINEER
The Plant Engineer will join the Global Real Estate, Physical Security, Facility & Energy Management Department, within the Global Engineering, Asset Management & Strategic Project Department.
He/She will functionally and hierarchically report to the HQ Facility Manager.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cooperating in drafting preliminary plans for new activities, in the development of feasibility studies, in the definition of the budget and the timing of a certain mechanical, electrical or plumbing (MEP) project;
Coordination of consultants and companies, control and verification of the correct progress of the work, budget and projects accounting.
Coordination with other company functions to support the drafting of contracts and the accounting framework of the interventions;
Onsite verification of the correct execution of the works in technical and economic terms, in compliance with the planned times and safety standards, control of the relevant deviations with management of formal and substantial complaints;
Assistance in drafting the annual budget for maintenance and investments (MEP systems related) aimed at improving company assets;
Definition of technical specifications and bill of quantities for tenders to be carried out for the project activities;
Production of technical and economic reporting related to the execution of various works;
Monitoring of the maintenance status of civil and industrial properties’ MEP systems by managing an appropriate chronological register of maintenance/checks /inspections carried out and the related schedule of the same activities to be carried out by using SAP PM tool;
Mastery of MS Office software is required, with a focus on Excel and Power Point; excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) and similar software is mandatory.
Specific trainings, certificates or certifications related to MEP systems in the industrial sector and knowledge of the SAP PM application for the management/registration and schedule of maintenance activities constitutes a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
At least 1 to 3 years, as an employee of an engineering consultancy company, a technical department of banks or CDMO company, a retail & large-scale distribution company, with the ability to manage projects in the field (industrial and/or pharmaceutical background is a plus).
Knowledge of both spoken and written English is strongly required.
