Reporting to the PSQ & Project Pursuit Manager, as Product Selection & Quoting (PSQ) Engineer you will have the responsibility to support sales preparing and submitting the quotations to customers/distributors in a timely and accurate manner. You will also ensure the technical alignment to customer specifications working directly with customers and in collaboration with sales, to meet the customer’s requirement following SBU rules for pricing and manufacturing plant lead time guidelines.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Record incoming enquiry requests
* Analyze and register the technical information (Specifications and/or Datasheets) provided by the customers and propose suitable systems for the application
* Require and participate in pre-bid technical clarification meetings with customers
* Prepare technical Bid with Clarifications & Deviations
* Collaborate closely with other functions, gain and handle torque calculations
* Send and manage Request for Quotations (RFQ) to actuator manufacturer
* Review of commercial Terms and Conditions having a commercial impact or financial risk (i.e.: warranties, penalties etc)
* Trade Compliance Review
* Ensure Technical support and clarification to local Sales Office
* Support sales with missing price list
* Manage product quotation in compliance with Company and/or Business Unit Pricing Policies
* Receipt & Release of the order to manufacturing
* Participate in post-order technical meetings (i.e., Kick-off Meetings and Pre-Inspection Meetings) with customers and other internal functions to ensure consistency to agreed conditions and/or evaluate financial impacts due to requirement changes
* Be the point of reference for TQ’s during post-order contract review meetings
* Translate the customer specifications into information to allow Bill Of Material/paperwork creation.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* High School Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* Fluent in Italian and in English, one other language preferred
* Understanding of fluid mechanics, electro-mechanical equipment, and metal physical properties
* Ability to comprehend technical details/technical literacy
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Preferred previous experience in the flow control industry with the ability to understand valve and actuation applications
* Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive (ASME, ANSI, API) standards
