No matter the day, you set out to provide each guest with a dining experience that will be remembered long after their stay.What you’ll be doingWelcome guests and promptly attend to tablesServe food and beverages to guests making recommendations if neededShare your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requestsRecord transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timelyCheck-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverageClean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other suppliesCommunicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.Follow cycle time guidelines for all meals.Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.Inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china, glass, and silver prior to use.Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines at all timeWhat we’re looking forYou must possess the legal right to work in Italy. Valid work permit for full time role (40 hours/week).Fluent in English and ItalianUnderstanding of FB operations and luxury hospitalityPositive outlook and outgoing personalityGreat conversational skills and teamwork-orientedUnderstanding of luxury hospitality FB operationsExperience in the same role in fine dining restaurants would be an advantageIdeally, knowledge of MicrosThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
