Job Title: AFTER SALES & SERVICES SPECIALIST
Position Purpose
After sales provides after-sales service support to Customers, such as the installation, maintenance and repair of the sold products. The candidate will report to the Service Supervisor and will liaise and report with him for each specific task below described.
After Sales General Duties & Responsibilities
* Write an effective after sales job description, begin by listing detailed duties, responsibilities and expectations.
* Analyze volume of repairs by store on a monthly basis.
* Proficient computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications.
* Prospect on a day-to-day basis by phone, mail, and person to person.
* Ensure customers are 100% satisfied.
* Inspect all systems prior to delivery and explain and demonstrate operation of all current equipment.
* Make appointments for customers to have service occurring.
* Work with suppliers and OEM to ensure good pricing and service.
* Work with shipyard colleagues to ensure good communication and working relationships between departments.
Pre-delivery and Delivery
* Technical assistance during hauling out and launching operation of yachts.
* Yachts’ quality checks and performance testing after the delivery of the yachts.
* Valuing in terms of time and cost of the list of non-conformities after the first yacht inspection.
* Scouting, planning and management of subcontractors involved in repair works.
* Oversight and follow-up of the repair lists.
* Yachts’ arrangement for delivery.
* Technical support for the Owners team.
Warranty Related Activities
* Management of warranty claims after the delivery throughout the world (EMEA, AMS, EPAC).
* Breakdown service – on-board diagnostics and repair.
* Organization, planning and oversight of warranty interventions, options’ installations and maintenance services.
* Technical management of yachts during events & boat shows.
* Warehouse management for Sales and Service.
* Marina management and oversight.
Requirements
* Language skills (English) written and spoken.
* SAP R/3 beneficial.
* MS Office.
* Yacht repair processes and warranty administration.
* Market competition and economy.
* Potential to become an expert in the after sales business.
* Process improvement principles.
Desired Experience
* Two or more years’ experience team management in a workshop environment.
* Knowledge of all aspects of yacht including evaluation and repair.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions.
* Strong ability to work and communicate with other suppliers, manufacturers, customer service, and management, inside the shipyard network.
