The primary purpose of the Grill Cook/Cook is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The Grill Cook/Cook is to prepare ingredients, inform waitstaff when orders are ready, and clean the grill after each shift. You will monitor inventory to ensure that you have sufficient supplies at all times. Streamline work from back of house to front of house.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Observe all store rules and company policies.
2. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
3. Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.
4. Clean food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy.
5. Prepare foods to the specifications of the customer.
6. Make adjustments to food items to accommodate customers with allergies or specific diet concerns.
7. Act as a liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature.
8. Operate various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven, and grill.
9. Assist other cooks during the food assembly process.
10. Estimate expected food consumption and organize preparation.
11. Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
2. Prior work experience preferred but not required.
3. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
