For our headquarter in Rubbiano (PR) we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who can perform the following duties:
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Under the direction of the Product Engineering Manager and functionally reporting to the Product Owner, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for ensuring technical aspects regarding the proper production on Special Processes (coating, drilling, heat treatment, etc.) for IGT (Industrial Gas Turbine) e Aviation components.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Manufacturing Engineer, after a period of training, shall perform each of the Major Activities, including, but not limited to, the following:
* Layout the manufacturing process incorporating all aspects of product design criteria, including definition of process flows, manufacturing times, BOMs, operative and technical instructions. In particular, the process flow will be managed by using dedicated software (SAP).
* Provides constant support to production from an engineering standpoint in order to prevent and solve any issues to parts during the process flow.
* Collaborate with Quality dept on critical aspects regarding products and processes of proper OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
* Collect, analyze, and discuss customer required specifications and drawings
* Collaborate with Design team and Production to ensure manufacturability of items internally developed and designed
* Prepare required customer documentation to qualify new products/processes. Continuously improve product / processes and utilize proper change management practices.
* Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma in technical disciplines. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or other related scientific disciplines is a plus.
* Experience or knowledge on IGT and Aviation business is a plus.
* Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Basic SAP knowledge is a plus.
* Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Excellent communication skills, including well developed written, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to positively interact with all levels of internal collaborators as well as external customers or suppliers, including technical discussion.

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
TRAVEL
Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company.
