Your Role:
The Project Logistics Operations Manager will oversee the daily operational activities within the Project Department.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure daily activities are in compliance with management metrics.
* Collaborate with Business Development staff to ensure client satisfaction and deep selling of existing clients.
* Develop processes to meet clients' needs.
* Analyze root causes of client service failures and implement corrective actions.
* Attend regular meetings with the Project Team to discuss operations issues.
* Communicate with various parties involved in the process, including carriers, brokers, warehouses, and customers.
* Troubleshoot problems and prevent recurrence.
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries timely.
* Generate reports and documentation as necessary.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight division or equivalent.
* Familiarity with import/export documentation and freight coordination.
* Knowledge of Incoterms, government agencies, and regulations for goods handling.
* Proficient in Windows applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work under time pressure.
