Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate Occupational Health and Safety, environmental, and quality activities related to the project.
* Review and ensure the Health and Safety Plan meets both legal and client-specific requirements.
* Monitor on-site implementation of safety plans, identify potential risks, and apply corrective or preventive measures.
* Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational controls.
* Conduct inspections and audits to maintain high health and safety standards.
* Generate project progress reports and participate in on-site safety meetings.
* Investigate accidents and incidents to enhance safety protocols.
* Provide health and safety onboarding and training for new site personnel.
* Serve as a key liaison with the Health and Safety Coordinator.
Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental (HSQE) Requirements:
* Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and procedures.
* Report and collaborate on the investigation of any risks, accidents, or incidents.
* Ensure the correct use of machinery, equipment, PPE, and hazardous substances.
* Comply with responsibilities as outlined in the company's Health and Safety Management System.
* Participate in training related to occupational risk prevention.
What You Need to Succeed:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in on-site substation and power line projects.
* Education: A degree (preferably in Engineering) and Occupational Health and Safety Certification.
* Languages: Native Italian speaker; English or Spanish at B2 level is desirable.
* Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
* Mobility: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
