POSITION OVERVIEW
Country Accounting Manager:
Act as head of the accounting function in the country for 1 or sometimes multiple legal entities. In this role you will ensure accounting processes are efficient and effective while providing high quality financial data that meets the requirements of external- and internal stakeholders.
You will play an important role in driving and impacting performance by providing:
1. On-time reporting: management reporting in Onestream and Statutory, Tax and other mandatory external reporting.
2. Accurate financial information in accordance with Hyva accounting principles and statutory/tax laws.
3. Efficient finance function: high-quality service delivered cost efficient, by standardization, automation and making use of low-cost environment
Business Controller, Bu Cranes:
As Business Controller you will be the Finance Business Partner to Business Unit Cranes in Europe which includes providing high quality advice to and supporting decision-making by management of the regions and support functions in the business unit.
You will play an important role in driving and impacting performance by providing transparent financial insights in the following topics:
4. Financial Performance and KPI Achievement: Achieve financial targets and KPIs by acting as a business partner through reporting key metrics and advising on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions.
5. Finance business support for the country management team in achieving targets in sales, profitability and working capital.
6. Cashflow Management: Secure an optimized overall cash-flow and optimization of the working capital;
7. To support commercial team on business decision and opportunity identification, and improve transparency to better achieve business target
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Country Accounting Manager:
Oversee and guide team members, providing coaching, feedback, and support to help achieve individual and collective goals
General Accounting and financial controlling: maintain appropriate accounting records in accordance with Hyva’s accounting principles.
Credit management and collection: ensure credit management processes are followed and accounts receivables and bank receipts are correctly and timely recorded.
Supplier invoices and payments: ensure timely and efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments.
Tax & Statutory reporting: on-time and accurate tax, statutory and regulatory reporting.
Lean Finance: Improve efficiency through standardization, automation in the Finance function.
Establish and improve manual and system internal controls, including segregation of duties, to ensure an effective and efficient internal control process resulting in accurate financial information.
Business Controller, Bu Cranes:
Review and analyze actual financial performance for each sub-region / country
Prepare forecasts, budgets and strategic plans based on business outlook and planned activities each-sub-region / country
Performance management to meet financial objectives
Provide and analyze financial information to guide decision making and set strategy for each sub-region / country
Prepare and/or evaluate business cases each sub-region /country
Internal control ; act as the 2nd line of defense internal control and general compliance
Support and implement ad hoc projects, including Regional and Global initiatives;
Drive country investment proposal process supported by financial analysis
POSITION REQUIREMENT
Educational Level: Bachelor+
Professional Experience: 5++ years of relevant experience
Excellent communication in English
Ability to work on a multicultural environment
Willing to travel for longer periods (few weeks/months) if required
