Global Job:Position title:Site_Discipline Lead for RiskJob level:8Key responsibilities:Site Risk Management Process Establishment:Implement risk standards and procedures tailored to the site's operations.Ensure suitable organizational structures and processes for effective risk management at the site level.Train project team members on risk assessment and management.Manage hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and development of direct reports.Foster a culture of risk awareness among all stakeholders within the site.Ongoing Execution of Risk Management:Continuously execute the risk management process at the site.Proactively identify and address risks pertinent to site-specific projects and operations.Conduct thorough risk assessments and deliver comprehensive reports to site management and Global PMO.Risk Mitigation Planning and Follow-up:Assist projects in identifying and assessing risks relevant to the site.Facilitate the exchange of best practices and knowledge among various projects at the site.Offer guidance and onboard members of the site's risk team.Define and monitor actions aimed at mitigating identified risks.Site Risk Management Coordination:Serve as the coordinator for risk management activities specific to the site.Prepare risk-related materials for approval by site management.Collect, review, and assess individual project risk profiles for accuracy and relevance.Ensure alignment of risk profiles with appropriate mitigating actions.Alignment with Global PMO:Ensure alignment between risk management efforts and other control disciplines at the site and Global PMO.Collaborate closely with project teams, steering groups, and subject matter experts.Engage with relevant functions at Global PMO to synchronize risk management initiatives.Scope of Authority:Independently make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and plans.Represent the site under challenging conditions.Full responsibility for managing all aspects of the risk management process at the site.Other areas of responsibility:Ensure an engaged and inclusive work environment at the site.Support and practice behavioral targets.Contribute to the overall development of the department and its deliverables.Knowledge, skills and experience:Education:Academic degree in Management, Business, Economics, or other relevant major.Experience:Strong proven track record of working with risk management.Prior experience with large construction projects or programs in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries is advantageous.Personal skills:Curious, analytical, systematic mindset.Resilient with a strong drive to see things through.Good stakeholder management skills with personal courage and integrity.Attention to detail.Good team player who collaborates effectively.Proactive attitude toward performance improvement.Ability to adapt to changing conditions.Effective communication across all organizational levels.Experience in an international environment.Excellent English and Italian communication skills.We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.At Novo Nordisk, we aspire to be the best company for the world, recognizing that this is only possible with talented employees with diverse perspectives.
