Jefferson Wells is looking for a Planning & Forecast Lead, on behalf of a multinational diagnostic company based in Milano.
Main activities:
- Deliver Inventory control process managing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and risks, to achieve highest performance in term of On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and Inventory's KPIs, trough ERP settings, reporting activities and managing warehousings including 3PL facilities
- Manage intercompany procurement process interacting with international department of Supply Planning, Distribution and Marketing
- Assure market demand according to CRM opportunities, upcoming tenders and instruments installations comparing data with sales figures and historical trends in terms of highest forecast accuracy (FCA)
- Develops and maintains forecast models accuracy based on product types, consumption and lead-times, trough periodically reporting and KPIs monitoring
- Analyzes historical data and trends to adapt forecasting models and planning strategies.
- Actively follows and participates on the Demand review process.
- Maintains and updates fields in SAP's material master used for demand planning
- Owner of end-to-end local MRP processes implementation and optimization
- Forecasting communication to suppliers according to Sales information and customer expectations.
- Understanding all Supply Chain Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), data flows and be able to interrogate data to support improvement
- Providing reporting support and inventory & buying support analysis as required and drawing insights from data in order to make recommendations to the business
- Intercompany procurement process and warehousing
- Managing inventory issues and communication with external warehouses
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for business.
- Monitoring stock and inventory levels of key customers and consignment distributors, and providing early warning of impending stock out situations including reporting significant issues to management team
- Working closely with the internal stakeholders to help facilitate the order fulfilment process (OFP)
