TXT Group is looking for an Avionic Test Engineer to implement the Aerospace & Aviation Business Unit team.
The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for problem solving and proactivity, has communication and organizational skills. The resource is able to work both in teams and individually, to organize the workload, and highly motivated to grow professionally and to learn new skills.
Main activities:
The resource will be responsible for testing software for avionics components without a direct graphical interface and will be dealing with an avionic component, whose software is a safety critical DAL-B. In particular:
Low level requirement analysis;
Software test design;
Test cases implementation;
Test execution on target environment;
Problem analysis and report;
Interface with customers;
STD and STR production.
Required technical skills:
Good knowledge of computer systems and knowledge of languages such as Matlab, Python, C;
Interest in aerospace avionics technologies;
Knowledge of the main validation methodologies (software / system);
Good knowledge of the English language;
Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Ada, Unix / Linux;
Knowledge of Avionic Standards (eg DO-178B / C), of avionic communication protocol (ARINC, AFDX, etc.) and of systems and installations of airplanes and helicopters.
