We are looking for a Data Scientist who is passionate about learning, data, scalability, and agility. You will play a key role in shaping Docsity AI by leveraging data science techniques to optimize learning experiences and drive data-informed decisions across the company.
Your daily activities will include:
Analyze raw data:
assess quality, cleanse, and structure it for downstream product processing.
Develop architectures to streamline data science processes and ensure scalability.
Support initiatives for data integrity, normalization, and governance.
Enhance Docsity AI by developing machine learning algorithms for personalization and content recommendations.
Promote data-driven decision-making across the company through reports and presentations.
Develop insightful dashboards to track performance and key metrics.
Monitor and evaluate AI models, iterating based on user feedback.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
Solid understanding of product metrics and the product development cycle, ensuring data insights align with business objectives.
Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and database technologies (SQL, schema design, query optimization).
Experience with Large Language Models APIs and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, LandGraph, or other Copilot frameworks.
Understanding of the full software development life cycle and agile development methodologies.
Proficiency in Italian and English (B2+ level or higher).
Nice to have
Experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling.
Expertise in BI tools (Looker, Looker Data Studio, Tableau, AWS QuickSight).
Knowledge of Ecommerce and digital marketing metrics.
Experience with scalable analytics techniques (PySpark, Dask, Modin, Koalas) and MPP databases (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
