The following can participate in the selection procedure:
1. Candidates in possession of the national scientific qualification, pursuant to art. 16, of Law no. 240/2010, for the Insolvency Sector, or for one of the Insolvency Sectors included in the same Macro Sector.
2. Professors already in service at other Italian universities, in the bracket corresponding to that for which the selection is announced.
3. Scholars permanently engaged abroad in research or teaching at university level, in a position of equal level to those covered by the announcement.
Those who, at the time of submitting the application, have a degree of kinship or affinity, up to and including the fourth degree, with a professor belonging to the Department requesting the activation of the post or structure that carries out the call or with the Rector, the General Manager or a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Parma cannot participate in the procedure.
The requirements for admission must be met on the expiry date of the deadline for submitting applications.
Specific Functions:
The Professor must engage in teaching activity (Bachelor's Degree Courses and Master's Degree Courses) and advanced teaching activity (Post-Graduate Courses) within the courses relating to the Scientific Disciplinary Sector BIOS-06/A Physiology. Responsibilities include:
1. Research activities and supervision of research activities on the topics for the Scientific Disciplinary Sector BIOS-06/A Physiology.
2. Participation in national and international competitive projects.
3. Production of high-impact scientific articles and other publications.
4. Participation, with roles of coordination responsibility, in the institutional operating bodies of the Department and related Degree Courses.
The research activities will focus on evaluating the state of nutrition, the nutritional characteristics of foods, and their applications in environmental and medical fields, with a translational approach aimed at understanding general functioning mechanisms of the organism.
General Evaluation Criteria: Internationally recognized assessment standards in accordance with art. 24, paragraph 5, of the law n. 240/2010.
