RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Controller to join its office in La Spezia within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
We are looking for a skilled Project Controller to support Project Management (PM) and Business & Performance Management (B&PM) activities for an aerospace/defence program. The role involves financial tracking, risk management, and reporting for key contracts. The selected candidate will be based in La Spezia, Italy, with possible short-term travel.
Key Accountabilities
* Monitor project costs, analyze financial deviations, and provide cost control reports.
* Track contractual deliveries and ensure compliance with project schedules.
* Support the preparation of sector reviews and contribute to key business insights.
* Participate in project meetings and provide structured reporting.
* Maintain and update the project risk register.
* Prepare Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Work Load Forecast (WLF) reports in support of B&PM.
* Plan and track project activities using the corporate project management tool.
* Assist in the preparation and update of Task Directives (TDs) to align commitments across functions.
Education
Master’s Degree in Management Engineering
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of cost controlling and project management methodologies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, ARM, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
* Experience in tracking project performance, financial forecasting, and risk management.
* Ability to work effectively in a structured environment, adhering to compliance and security requirements.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Willingness to travel for short-term assignments if required.
