Pure Energy Hydrogen, a leading company operating in the renewable energy and hydrogen technologies sector, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the design and integration of gas compression systems for automotive and energy applications. The candidate will be focused on designing hydrogen compression systems. The resource will deal with the concept and development of mechanical components, elaboration of technical drawings in 3D, production of construction drawings, definition of product technical datasheets, detailed technical development, identification of construction components, and identification of technological production solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical engineer, with proven experience and knowledge in:
* Design of metal structures of precision mechanical parts.
* Characteristics and application of materials (steel, carbon steel, iron, copper).
* 3D modelling programs (Solidworks is preferential).
* Experience on FEM analysis.
* Non-destructive testing and testing methods.
* Design of rotating machines: compressors for technical gases. Knowledge on diaphragm compressor is considered preferential.
* Conduct thermodynamic analysis and able to design cooling requirements for industrial machines.
* Design and construction of hydraulic and gas piping systems and P&ID.
* Excellent knowledge of English (written and oral) minimum level B2.
* Excellent manual skills and problem-solving.
* Knowledge of diaphragm compressors and industrial hydrogen applications will be preferred.
ROLE: The candidate, after suitable training, will be included within the company structure and will collaborate in the production and construction for compressors.
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent if proved competence and passing the trial period.
