Soilmec SpA for the Cesena office is looking for:
SPARE PARTS MANAGER
The resource will ensure service levels required in the supply of spare parts (made in the production plant or purchased) to customers.
Activities:
* Elaborates objectives and programmes for the development of acquired or new markets by analysing the relevant sales data and performing analyses on their performance.
* Draws up the annual sales budget for Spare Parts, analyses the sales results for the current year and implements the necessary corrective measures in the event of deviations.
* Ensures that sales and margin targets are met.
* Manages customer relations throughout the entire lifecycle of the equipment, constantly monitoring customer satisfaction, including through periodic visits.
* Searches for new customers by exploiting any channel and implementing promotion actions towards potential customers and incentive actions towards already acquired customers.
* Carries out periodic checks on the status of turnover and margins, the progress of commercial initiatives in each area and relative deviations, in liaison with foreign branches.
* Defines and verifies pricing policies on Spare Parts, authorising any deviations.
* Organises the preparation of spare parts orders, checking the availability of material and forwarding the information to the warehouse operations staff.
* Analyses quotation requests, defining the issuing of purchase/production/packaging/work orders, making forecasts on the shipping date and notifying the customer.
* Supports production planning with regard to budgets for the spare parts area, providing opinions on data to be entered or modified based on knowledge, history or collected data.
* Manages material procurement via ERP, on the basis of picking lists, analysing the presence of material and drawing up a list to be forwarded to the warehousemen, ensuring that minimum stocks are maintained.
* Checks and ensures the correctness of the data on minimum stocks and economic batches of individual articles on the basis of data processed by the system and the product history, making the necessary corrections when there is no such history.
* Manages warehouse accounting inventories, coordinating material inputs and the management of rotating inventories required to maintain correct inventories in the Spare Parts area.
* Verifies the correct application of safety procedures by departmental personnel.
* Manages and coordinates assigned human resources, defining and verifying work plans (activities, standards, workloads) and ensuring the development of team members.
Requirements:
* Degree in management, mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering.
* Previous experience in service or spare parts management in plant or machine manufacturing companies.
* Proven experience in supplier management.
* Willingness to travel worldwide.
* Excellent communication, problem solving and teamwork skills.
