Bayer Healthcare Manufacturing S.r.l., a leading pharmaceutical production company serving the global market, is looking for a talented and motivated Infrastructure & Utilities Engineer to join its Infrastructure & Utilities Function within the EMEX Cluster – Engineering & Maintenance Excellence. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the technical management and maintenance of the site’s infrastructure (buildings, internal roads, offices, warehouse, parking areas, etc.) Organize and maintain utilities and clean systems essential for pharmaceutical production (e.g. steam generators, HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, purified water, de-dusting systems) Coordinate external service providers for utility operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with HSE, GMP, Quality, and ISO standards, while monitoring costs and timelines Support technical projects — leading smaller ones or contributing as a Subject Matter Expert in larger ones — including specs, scheduling, procurement, execution, and validation Update technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures Manage the full maintenance lifecycle under the Progressive Maintenance program using SAP-FAM, from planning to spare part control Act as a focal point to ensure proper maintenance and regulatory compliance of fire protection systems (sprinklers, pumps, etc.) and pressure equipment (valves, vessels, heat exchangers, etc.) in compliance with Pressure Equipment Directive Act as Technical Representative for Infrastructure & Utilities during audits and inspections conducted by authorities or external bodies Plan and execute Infrastructure and Utility upgrades or revamping initiatives at the Garbagnate site Participate as an active member of the Energy Team, supporting the site's energy management systems (electricity, natural gas, steam, well water, etc.) Participate in the Emergency Maintenance On-Call team, ensuring operational continuity during off-hours (nights and weekends) in case of need, according to team rotation. WHO YOU ARE: Master’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical disciplines) At least 3 years of experience in a technical engineering role within a manufacturing environment, preferably under GxP conditions in the pharmaceutical sector Strong technical acumen, analytical mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented professional, with a strong team spirit and customer-focused attitude, able to thrive in an international and innovation-driven environment Project Management certification, Six Sigma Certification or additional certifications will be considered a plus Availability to be on-call, including nights, weekends and holidays Residence or domicile in Lombardy Fluent in English and Italian mother tongue Location: Garbagnate Milanese Type of contract: Permanent J-18808-Ljbffr
