JOB TITLE: Electrician
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager | Capo Manutentore
NATIONALITY: Eligible for a working permit in Italy
EDUCATION: Professional School in Scientific or Engineering Studies or similar
LANGUAGE: Good knowledge of English and Italian language
EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years’ experience in same role
SCOPE
The overall scope of the incumbent is to ensure all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES
The incumbent in this position is responsible for keeping equipment in good repair by providing day to day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Train and instruct other members of the staff.
2. Repair and / or adjust all types of electrical and HVAC equipment and cosmetic items.
3. Look for ways to conserve energy and report any ideas to the Maintenance Manager / Engineering Team.
4. Be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect our guests and employees, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. Inform Maintenance Manager of any such emergencies.
5. Optimise maintenance costs.
6. Accident prevention and safety.
7. Comply with all Kempinski company policies.
