Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled end-to-end system engineering tools and methodology manager to join our team and play a critical role in creating and developing the digital environment and associated methodology to be used in defining end-to-end architecture of our next generation European LEO satellite communications system (IRIS²). The target digital environment includes Model Based System Engineering activities, Requirement Management, and technical data management. In this position, you’ll work closely with the end users of the proposed toolbox within the end-to-end system engineers, the ground and space segment engineers, and the security architects contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. Who You Are:
* You have strong leadership and technical skills in large system end-to-end system engineering development for telecommunication systems.
* You have evolved in international projects and in industrial customer/contractor relationships.
* You have a high level of understanding of the system engineering development and modularization methodology.
* You already master the use of several of the commonly used tools (like Shadox, JAMA, Capella, …) and their associated methodology applied to large projects.
What You’ll Do:
You will be the leader to perform the following roles and tasks:
* Support engineering teams for usage of modelling and requirements tools.
* Manage baseline of models and specification documents.
* Prepare imports and exports of database for customer and supplier.
* Manage CCB.
* Define the methodology for the best practices to be deployed for the end-to-end system engineering program of IRIS².
* Lead user for each one of the tools.
* Configure the tools for the needs of the project.
* Define templates.
* Organize and monitor the correct process for design reviews.
* Define and monitor data quality and implement appropriate dashboards.
* Define and plan the onboarding for new users.
What You’ll Need:
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end system engineering methodology applied to large projects, preferably in the domain of the telecommunication industry.
* Good knowledge of MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) methodology and requirements management.
* Excellent knowledge of English.
* Ability to work in a team.
Where You’ll Work:
* Ideally based in one of the Eutelsat Group headquarter offices within the European Union, Paris, France or Torino, Italy.
* Flexible in-office and from-home remote work.
