We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Industrial Sales Executive to join our brand new Washington facility.
This role has a warm desk with a large untapped market in the local area and comes with a competitive salary, strong bonus structure and company car.
* Build high level relationships with established, new and potential industrial clients primarily in the local area
* Collaborate effectively with leadership and operations staff of all Glacier business units to bring potential opportunities to their attention and to identify and win projects
* Develop and establish long term account plans
* Maintain frequent personal contact with clients
* Participate in corporate teams to build relationships with key accounts
* Support a culture of personal accountability and ‘above the line’ performance
* Work in a manner, which protects the health, safety and welfare of self and others
* Ensure intercompany co-operation and adds value to the Glacier Group
* Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business
* Look after company interests at all times
* Generate and book new enquiries into AESSOP
* Carry out onsite surveys
* Quote workshop and onsite work scopes where required
* Process orders and build part number/work order routings on AESSOP prior to handing over to Operations
* Provide and update company sales reports
* Participate and contribute to internal sales meetings
* Must be able to demonstrate sales record (3+ years) at a high level of achievement in a technical consultative selling role
* Have established contacts within the local industrial market and preferably with wider knowledge and experience of Refineries, Chemical Plants and Power Generation industries
* Strong customer orientation with demonstrable client retention skills along with proven ability to acquire and grow new clients
* Proven technical sales experience ideally in more than one of the following services: Heat Transfer Equipment, Pressure Vessels, NDT, Onsite Machining and Joint Integrity Management
* Ability to learn and present new services to clients after training has been provided
* Emotionally mature with well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanour
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate at all levels.
* Commercially astute with excellent negotiating skills and the ability to handle and overcome objections
* First class presentation skills, with experience of using modern IT tools and sales aids
* Good analytical skill set with excellent reporting skills
* Resilient self-starter with proven ability to work under own initiative, planning time and calls effectively
* IT literate with specific experience using Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint programs
Travel
* Some travel required including overnight stays.
* Full valid UK driving licence.
