Follow the selected sub vendors for the Material Requisitions relating to their responsibility, managing the technical documentation provided by the sub vendors;Provide from office, technical assistance to site during erection activities or directly to site, if required;When a service outsourcing is required, support the other team members in the selection of specialized subcontractors, preparation of the relevant Work Requisitions and Technical Specifications, assessment and rating of the technical offers and monitoring and managing of the subcontractors;Assist the Responsible in the preparation and updating of the document system with respect to the Furnaces discipline;Participate to the technical training and exchange experiences and lesson learnt with colleagues of the Group;Keep himself up-to-date with the “State of Art” and advances relating to his/her discipline and transfer his/her knowledge to the other members of the team.Knowledge & Qualifications:Master’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience: At least 8 years in the role of furnace/mechanical engineer in design and/or plant companiesAbility to coordinate a work/group external furnace design company, with particular attention to schedule and contractual requirementsExperience in the requisitioning of furnace components (carpentry, piping, prefabrication, refractory, etc.), and related follow-upAutonomy in interfacing with the various figures involved in the activities of a project (customers, project teams, colleagues from other specialist disciplines, etc.)Good knowledge of office package, in particular ExcelKnowledge of CAD design softwareKnowledge of mechanical carpentry modelling software (Tekla Structures) is appreciatedGood knowledge of EnglishJob Location: Catania, ItalySi prega di inviare le candidature al seguente indirizzo di posta elettronica: RecruitingNextChem@key2people.com
